今更ながら、Ubuntuに日本語辞典があるのに気づいた。
漢英字典と漢字パッドとコンピュータ用語がある。
漢字パッドはインストールされていないことに気づき、「Synapticパッケージマネージャ」から、kanjipadを検索しインストール。
を参考に（感謝）、漢字パッド実行ファイルの設定をしました。
Gjitenの設定の、一般オプション→漢字パッド
「/usr/bin/kanjipad」と入力。
もっと辞書を増やせるらしいので、がんばってみた。
「getdics.pl」というスクリプトを実行すると辞書を自動でダウンロードするらしい。
「日本語と英語の単語辞書 Gjiten」を参考にしたが、Fedora Coreの場合なのでちょっと違う。
「Ubuntu: 「Gjiten 日本語辞典」を使う」を参考になんとかかんとか・・・（汗）。
以下、手順。
端末で
sudo nautilus
ダウンロードした「getdics.pl」を「/usr/share/gjiten/dics」に移動
[右クリック]-[プロパティ]-アクセス権タブで、「プログラムとして実行できる」にチェック
「getdics.pl」をダブルクリックして、端末で内で実行
「 This script will download and install all the dictionary files
known to work with Gjiten.
You can either install the basic dics (edict + kanjidic) or install
them all (this requires ~60Mb of disk space!).
If you run this script as a user, the dictionary files will be
installed in $HOME/gjiten.
If you run it as root, they will be placed under /usr/share/gjiten/dics
and they will be set up system-wide in gconf to make them automatically
available to all users without any setup.
Usage:
“/usr/share/gjiten/dics/getdics.pl -all” install all dictionary files.
“/usr/share/gjiten/dics/getdics.pl -basic” install basic dictionary files only.」
と出るので、
端末で入力
/usr/share/gjiten/dics/getdics.pl -all
すると、
/home/ユーザ名/gjitenフォルダができて、この中に「cedict」と「wadoku」がダウンロードされました。
本当は22種類の辞書がダウンロードされるはずなんですが、「tmp」フォルダまではダウンロードされていて、この2つ以外は解凍に失敗しているようです。
「Gjiten日本語字典」を起動してみましたが、辞書は手入力で設定しないと反映されなかった。
[編集]-[設定]-[単語辞典]の[各辞典]タブで辞書を追加し、ファイル名をつけ、順序を調整。
